Chief Executive Officer, Transport Corporation
Dmitry Abramin became CEO of Transport Corporation in 2012.
Between 2006 and 2012, Mr. Abramin held various positions in the Alfa Group Consortium, one of Russia’s largest privately owned investment groups, and Machinery sector of Basic Element, a diversified industrial group. He handled capital raising, strategic M&A transactions and control of acquired assets in the sectors of logistics, food retail, water utility and non-life insurance and performed exit analyses through scenario-based “waterfall” return studies to determine deal terms and pricing.
Before that from 2004 to 2006, Mr. Abramin held the position of Director of investments in Transgarant, privately owned freight rail operator, the part of FESCO Transportation Group. Executive role was addressed to operational, strategic and investment issues, including reviewing acquisition and disposal options and considering shareholders’ interests in the portfolio of freight rail assets.

Mr. Abramin holds a MA degree from Plehanov Russian University of economics and a MiF degree from New Economic School.
