Containers arriving from Asia-Pacific countries at Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSK in Vostochny port, Primorsky Krai, a member of Global Ports), as part of a regular train are sent from Nakhodka-Vostochnaya station to Lagernaya station in Kazan, where TransContainer’s own terminal is located. The estimated travel time by rail is 10 days. The frequency of shipments is three times a month with a view to increase.
The service is focused on electrical equipment, consumer goods, raw materials for industrial enterprises.
“The new service has supplemented the existing routes from VSK terminal to the Urals-Volga regions, in particular to Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Penza. Direct transportation without transshipment in Moscow allows optimizing logistic solutions and reducing delivery time for final consignees”, - noted Nikita Pushkarev, TransContainer’s First Vice-President. < Back to list
