The official opening ceremony of the exhibition was visited by Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Department on activities management of the Russian State Commision Andrey Nedosekov, Deputy Minister of transport Nikolay Asaul, First vice-president of Russian Railways Vadim Morozov, Deputy Director of the Federal Agency for Transport Supervision Vladimir Chertok, State secretary of Latvian Ministry of Communications Kaspars Ozolinysh, General secretary of Coordinating Council on Transsiberian Transportation Gennady Bessonov and other honorary guests.
This year the Group of companies “Delo” (Delo Group) led a number of successful meetings on the grounds of the exhibition, established new contacts. During the three days executives and employees of the Group’s stevedore business DeloPorts, including NUTEP container terminal, KSK grain terminal communicated with clients and partners. Container business was presented by RUSCON Company (a part of GCS Group). Visitors and participants of TransRussia could talk to the specialist, learn about companies’ activities and get relevant materials.
Over 350 Russian and foreign companies from 27 countries featured this year at the exhibition. In 4 days 13,516 specialists from 75 regions of Russia and 48 countries visited TransRussia.
TransRussia is considered one of the most significant and popular international exhibitions on transport and logistics in Russia. The exhibition has been taking place since 1996 and has established itself over many years as the leading industry event, and is currently the largest trade event on transport and logistics in Eastern Europe.
