Delo Group, the largest transportation and logistics holding in Russia participated in the ongoing project "Fort Island", aimed at the development of Kronstadt as a city-museum on behalf of Vladimir Putin.
The project involves the creation of a new urban cluster of educational and recreational orientation with comfortable public spaces, including a landscaped embankment, a museum and park complex, an exhibition center, social, scientific, educational and other facilities, on territories with a total area of more than 100 hectares adjacent to the Cabotage Harbor.
Delo Group, in order to increase the interest of the guests of St. Petersburg in this project and in Kronstadt in general, took part in the thematic reconstruction of the business lounge of the Pulkovo International Airport in St. Petersburg, which actually turned it into the entrance to the «Island of Forts».
The interior of the business lounge located in the international zone of the airport is designed so that upon arrival in the northern capital, from the first steps, guests begin to get acquainted with Kronstadt, its historical and modern appearance, as well as plans for the development of the city.
The new space is realized in the corporate colors of the "Island of Forts" project, which create an atmosphere of the sea and travel, that is, the very atmosphere of Kronstadt. In all areas of the lounge, a restrained sea blue and white style prevails, special interior elements in the form of steering wheels and anchors are thoughtfully arranged, the figure of a lighthouse and a decorative waterfall give realism and completeness to the look.
At the opening of the business lounge, the Head of the Board of Directors of Delo Group Sergey Shishkarev emphasized: “Today we have taken one more step to ensure that the legend of Russian naval history, the glorious city of Kronstadt, rightfully becomes a bright star in the magnificent constellation of the historical heritage of the Northern capital. And it became one of the centers of attraction of tourism, opened for its guests all the diversity of its past and showed the greatness of the future. "
CEO of Northern Capital Gateway LLC, Leonid Sergeev, assessing the idea of the completed reconstruction project, said: “... A combination of style, functionality, very good comfort. It feels like you find yourself in a wardroom that will survive in any storm, but at the same time, you feel very relaxed. "
Salon with a total area of 375 sq. meters is designed for 100 seats, its throughput will be up to 300 thousand people per year.
