Ministry of Transport and freight companies will develop a digital ecosystem for logistics and delivery

Delotech LLC (a division of the Delo Group), the premier digital transport and logistics association, the National Union of Transport and Logistics Experts, C7 Cargo LLC, DVMP, Rustrans-Spedition CJSC, United Transport and Logistics Company - Eurasian Railway Alliance JSC, and Eurosib Spb-Transport Systems JSC have joined forces in the development and establishment of the National Digital Transport and Logistics Platform of the Russian Federation (NDTLP). The parties signed the agreement with the Ministry of Transport of Russia on December 19 at the International Digital Transportation Forum.

The NDTLP seeks to integrate digital logistics services offered by cargo carriers onto a unified platform. This will streamline the interaction between all parts of the logistics chain, eliminate the need for paper documentation and ultimately reduce the transportation costs.

The priorities of this cooperation between the parties will be the provision of comprehensive support for NDTLP's development, assisting in the creation of standardized transport registration documents, and establishing a consolidated repository of regulatory and reference information pertinent to all modes of transport and logistics operations. Moreover, the participating parties will actively pursue integration of NDTLP with the digital transportation and logistics platforms utilized by countries engaged in international trade with Russia.

Notable signatories to the agreement include Dmitriy Bakanov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation; Polina Davydova, Director of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association; Boris Sopelnik, IT Director of the Delo Group of Companies and General Director of Delotech LLC; Olga Fedotkina, Executive Director of the National Union of Experts in Transportation and Logistics; Larisa Korshunova, Director of Government Relations at United Transport and Logistics Company - Eurasian Railway Alliance; Ilya Yaroslavtsev, General Director of S7 Cargo; Dmitriy Nikitin, President of Eurosib Spb-Transport Systems; Dmitriy Surovets, Vice President for Information Technology at FESCO Transportation Group; and Kondratiy Gaikevich, Director of Rustrans-Spedition.

“Russia boasts a range of essential services and products designed to tackle specific local challenges. The primary objective of NDTLP is to interconnect and integrate these services, ensuring the highest level of synergy”, noted Dmitry Bakanov.

Boris Sopelnik echoed this sentiment by stating that “Standardization of information exchange constitutes a vital element in optimizing the transportation process. Collaborating on the NDTLP will enable us to establish a system that meets both business and government interests”. < Back to list
