The terminal of PJSC TransContainer Kleshchikha is a key object of logistics infrastructure in Western Siberia. As of March 2024, it accounted for 78% of the volume of containers handled by the company on the West Siberian Railway, and the eighth part – in Russia as a whole.
The terminal reconstruction project with a total cost of over 1.5 billion rubles (excluding VAT) has been implemented since the beginning of 2021. It provides for the expansion of one of the existing container sites for the operation of reach stackers on it, as well as the construction of a new, fifth in a row, for the operation of two cargo cranes with a lifting capacity of 45 tons each. As a result, the terminal's capacity will increase to 312 thousand TEUs per year, the capacity of storage warehouses – approximately by 60%, up to 6.1 thousand TEUs, the total capacity of the railway tracks front – by more than 40%, up to 235 conventional wagons.
The required state support for the project amounts to 51.1 million rubles.
The need to expand PJSC TransContainer's terminal in Novosibirsk is dictated by the growing volume of cargo traffic in the region, which is a major industrial center of Siberia, and a significant location in the construction of container logistics. In the period of 2024-2030, the demand for terminal services in the Novosibirsk metropolitan area is forecast to grow by about a third. Within 5 years (from 2019 to 2023), the region's loading volume increased by almost 75 thousand TEUs with annual growth averaging 18.5 thousand TEUs. Preparation of infrastructure and the creation of a warehouse space reserve in Kleshchikhya will allow to provide handling of the increasing volumes of containers < Back to list
