Thanks to these renovations, the terminal's capacity has increased by 60%, currently reaching 80,000 TEU. Moreover, the volume of monthly train capacity has doubled, with the terminal now accommodating 60 trains each month.
During this first stage of terminal reconstruction, a brand-new container site was commissioned, allowing to double both storage and handling capacity to 3,000 TEU. Additionally, a specialized platform is now available for delivering and managing passenger cars arriving in containers. The terminal's first train carried 55 containers, loaded with a total of 110 cars from Chongqing, China, to Moscow. After unloading, these cars were loaded onto trucks and delivered to dealerships.
The next stages of reconstruction include building additional railroad tracks, expanding the container site, and purchasing of reach-stackers. The project is to be completed by 2025. < Back to list
