Sergey Shishkarev will be re-elected as President of the Handball Federation of Russia

Sergey Shishkarev decided to be re-elected for the post of President of the Handball Federation of Russia (HFR). He was elected to the HFR in April 2015. The election conference will take place in Moscow on 26 December.

Commenting on his decision, Sergey Shishkarev stated:

"We are going to listen to the opinions and suggestions of our opponents are open for a dialogue and cooperation - all professionals whose knowledge and experience can be useful in handball. Special attention will be paid to the cooperation with the regions. We know that regions need our attention and are ready to support them. Children and youth are surely to be our priority."

At the initiative of Dr. Hassan Mustafa, head of the International Handball Federation, Sergey Shishkarev also plans to run in the leadership of the International Federation in 2017.
