TransContainer and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow Region Agreed on Joint Implementation of Investment Projects

PJSC TransContainer (part of Delo Group) and the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Moscow Region" (CCI MR) agreed to cooperate in the implementation of investment projects in the region.

The corresponding agreement was signed by Andrey Banshchikov, Chief Engineer of TransContainer, and Denis Frantsuzov, President of CCI MR, at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

The document validity period is three years. Cooperation with CCI MR will allow taking full advantage of the investment project support mechanisms available in the Moscow Region.

One of such projects provides for the construction of a terminal near Chekhov station (Moskovskaya Railway). Its capacity is estimated at 173,000 TEUs at the first stage of the project implementation with the prospect of increasing up to 1 million TEUs. The capacity of container yards will be about 13 thousand TEUs. The approximate amount of investments under the project is 10-12 billion rubles. Commissioning of the new terminal is scheduled for 2025-2026.

TransContainer seeks to significantly increase its terminal capacities in the Moscow Region. It should be reminded that in addition to the company’s existing terminals at Kuntsevo-2 and Vorsino stations (the second one - as a joint venture) it is planned to build one more hub - in the Domodedovo District of the Moscow Region. The facility with a design capacity of 424 thousand TEUs per year will be adjacent to Usady railway station. < Back to list
