At the end of 11 months of 2023, 357 block trains were shipped from Gorkovskaya Railway through the Eastern range of Russian Railways and Kazakh border-crossing points of Dostyk and Altynkol, which is 44.5% more than in the same period of 2022. TransContainer's share in these services increased from 46.2% to 51.3%, and the number of formed trains increased by 60.5% to 183 units.
There are four company's container terminals – Kostarikha, Lagernaya, Kirov-Kotlassky and Pozim – operating in the territory of Gorkovskaya Railway, and block trains are dispatched from five stations. The main exported goods to the Asia-Pacific region are lumber, paper and vegetable oils produced in the Volga regions.
To ensure stable growth and rhythmicity of transportation, TransContainer modernizes its terminal facilities. Thus, in 2022 the company completed the reconstruction of its site in Kirov and doubled the terminal’s carrying capacity. As a result of the reconstruction of the terminal in Kazan, its capacity increased by 60%. < Back to list
