The route runs from Selyatino station in the Moscow region to TransContainer's own terminal at Yekaterinburg-Tovarny station in the Sverdlovsk region. The approximate travel time is 2.5 days. The frequency of transportation is 10 trains per month.
The new service supplemented the existing service from Kuntsevo station in Moscow. Diversification of departure stations allows to evenly load the terminal capacities of the Moscow transportation hub. In addition, the service contributes to balancing export-import cargo flows on the Russian Railways network by optimizing the loading of rolling stock. After unloading in Ekaterinburg, the fitting platforms are used for delivery of exports to the Far East, from where they return to the European part of Russia with imports, as well as used for transshipment of imported containers that have already arrived to the Urals in open wagons.
The first train from Selyatino station delivered 120 TEUs with consolidated goods to Ekaterinburg. < Back to list
