SERGEY SHISKAREV AWARDED FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE NATIONAL HANDBALL TEAM

President of the Russian Handball Federation Sergey Shishkarev and head coach of the Russian women's national handball team Evgeny Trefilov awarded with the Order of Friendship by the decree of the Russian President dated 18 May, 2017 for the successful preparation of Russian team for the Olympic Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.

The women's national team of Russia won gold medals at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after the final match with the French team with a score of 22:19. This was the first supreme Olympic result in the history of the women’s national handball.
